Welcome to the blog on the Ito the Magic Stingray, a game developed by a single person using the Stencyl engine! Play as the titular hero Ito, as he uses his magic bubbles to save the world from the evil dragon, who plans to steal all the magic from the world! Though many enemies stand in his way, Ito has an ace up his sleeve: magic bubbles. By simply blowing these special bubbles, anyone who touches them will magically inflate, including Ito himself! When used in tandem with his stinger, nothing can get in his way! Will Ito be able to stop the evil dragon from taking over the world? Only one way to find out!
*ahem* Sorry if that sounded a little too excited. As my first blog, it should go without saying that I don't have much in the ways of experience. Nevertheless, I have decided to write a blog about the progress I am making on "Ito the Magic Stingray", a 2D platformer made and run on the Stencyl engine. This game will be used as my senior project, so why not share my project progress using a blog?
Here, I will update semi-weekly, using screenshots and the occasional .gif to show just how well everything is going. Honestly, I'm optimistic about this title. Everything seems to be running smoothly, and any problems that I come across get solved. Look forward to Ito the Magic Stingray getting published here, May 2016!
