So I've gotten Ito to a good point, mechanic-wise. All of the main controls that Ito is supposed to use, aside from his stinger attack, is pretty much done. I even have a working mechanic that allows enemies to inflate and pop should they get too big, though it's still quite basic. I can add onto this to where it can enable or disable behaviors, amplify or dampen them, and even completely change the afflicted character, but first... I need ideas to even base this off of..!
The unfortunate thing is, what CAN I even do off of these? My imagination is, right now, only limited to the main character (Ito) and the final boss. Enemies? "ppht" goes the mind. It's a thing I need to work on, because creativity in monster design is gonna be really necessary here, if even for about like... less than 10 different kinds of monsters, and that's me being generous with how often I could make these things.
I'm sure I'll come up with something or another, but I'm gonna need to overcome this amazing trial of creativity. Because Lord knows I have none of it. ...But it’ll be so worth it when I do.
